The Excerpts 20: A Call to Faith

I have faith in the Buddha,
The supremely enlightened master
Of devas and men.
By this faith I draw strength
To sail on this long and winding stretch of life.

I have faith in the Dhamma,
Leading beings to purification
And liberation from all sufferings.
By this faith I draw strength
To walk the road of renunciation

I have faith in the Sangha,
Perfected diciples,
Having tread fully the Noble eigthfold way,
They lead other to safety.
By this faith I draw strength
To follow my good friend: RIGHT MINDFULNESS.

NB: At times, one is tired physically or mentally, one
can recollect the virtues of the Triple Gems to bring
out the strength of faith. You may be surprised how
well it can work and how strong faith can be.
